Homemade Hummus (4 Servings)
1 can of chickpeas drained
1 clove of garlic (optional)
¼ cup olive oil
2tbsp fresh lemon juice
kosher salt as needed or regular salt
¼ tsp of paprika (optional)
+ ¼ cup of water (if needed)
Place all ingredients in the food processor and blend. May need to add water to achieve desired consistency.
Transfer to a bowl and drizzle olive oil on top + paprika for taste (optional) and decoration.
Great snack for adults and kids with whole wheat pita bread.
