The Benefits of Regular Physical Activity


We are all told that we need to be active for the sake of our health. Many of us lead busy lives that make fitting in exercise difficult. The simple fact of the matter is to maintain overall well being, we must make exercise a priority.

Exactly how much activity do we need to benefit our overall health? The answer, according to the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology, is 150 minutes/week, or 30 minutes 5X per week.
